Specialist Maths [raw 47] and Methods [raw 50] tutor

Hey, I'm Alan and I'm offering tutoring services again for 2017!

About me:
I'm a 2015 graduate with an ATAR of 99.85, with raw scores of 47 (specialist maths) and 50 (maths methods). I'm aware of the new study design implemented in 2016 and am well versed in it, having learnt it at university, where I am currently studying Mathematics.

I'm a versatile tutor who will teach through adapting to my students' learning style. My goal is to be your friend, rather than another authoritative teacher! I understand the difficulties of the daunting VCE, so I aim not only to teach, but to also offer some advice for dealing with stress.

For my students, I offer phone and email services 7 days a week, as I understand a lot of the queries and questions come from independent studying, and cannot all be covered in tutoring sessions.

Rates and Locations:
$45 dollars an hour at State Library, or along the Craigieburn Line.
Group sessions can be negotiated.

Contact:
Email: [email protected]

Further Credentials:
I have been very involved in the mathematical olympiad scene, and have won a Medal (top 0.01%) in the Australian Mathematics Competitions (AMC), as well as several Prizes. I have also achieved several Outstanding Awards in University of Melbourne Mathematics Competition, 8th (Gold) in the Australian Mathematical Olympiad, and was in the running for representing Australia in the IMO (International Mathematical Olympiad).

Can attest to Alan's amazing mathematical mind, ability to teach/help people regardless of their mathematical ability, and overall friendliness!
Bonus to his tutoring is if you choose to do anything maths related at Uni he can continue to provide assistance! :)
