   - What subjects are you studying this year and which is your favourite so far? Do you have any goals?
Advanced English, Mathematics 2U(Best class & teacher), Business Studies, Legal Studies, Physics [and Quanta to Quarks option] (Best syllabus) and Studies of Religion 2U. My goals are to get at least 80% in both Physics and Maths in each exam as they are my weaker subjects. And top 10 in each subject.

From a tourist perspective, Parkville does seem beautiful! I went to UoM a year back for the Kwong Lee Dow young scholar's program and honestly fell in love!

Never knew they gave out Knowg Dow Lee scholarships in NSW (I thought it was only for VCE students  :P)

Which books do you recommend? As soon as the HSC is over I'm hitting my local library and every book store I can find!  Which language are you most passionate to learn too?
My goodreads account gives a good indication of recommendations; however I won't link it here. :P
Although I do heavily recommend the classics such as Pride and Prejudice (Austen) and Northanger Abbey (again, Austen)

I'm most passionate in either learning Serbian (as my gran comes from there) or another undecided language that isn't Latin-based :P

The Parkville area is a lot more lively than Clayton, so at least you've got that going for you! (Plus, you're closer to UoM :D)
Sorry Alter, but still Monash > UoM :P #monashmasterrace

Thanks for the well wishes! Good luck to you starting your own future yourself! Oh my I remember looking at accomodation at UoW, which college are you staying at there? Seems like such a beautiful place and has such great vibes there! What career path are you looking at taking after Bachelor of Science? :)

I'm staying at Newman College. I am hoping to go down the medicine pathway, otherwise I will likely complete a PhD.

Ahh I read Pride and Prejudice for HSC, was a shame I had to analyse it because it made it less enjoyable for me - really want to read Northanger Abbey though, heard it's another one of Austin's top novels!

It's refreshing to see someone interested in languages other than the seemingly mainstream like French and Italian! Do you know any Serbian so far from your family?

I have a good reads account too! I am guilty of entering 101 novel giveaways on there (':

Ooh lovely! Have you had a chance to see your room yet or do you have to wait for o-week? A friend of mine is attending UoW for his first year also!
I've always had a fascination with medicine but in a sense I find it daunting - hope it works out for you though!

Since I'm right on the border of Vic and NSW (Victoria is literally walking distance for me, just over a km), our school was still included! Shame though because the lectures they offered were, naturally, VCE based so I didn't find a point attending, particularly since Melbourne is a 3/3.5 hour car trip for me!

Pretty much! I cram my days full so I don't have to do it too many days - 3 days a week this semester  8)

Just to the Central Coast! Nowhere exciting ::) aw sorry to hear that, what a weird situation!! At least you've got a teacher you know well ;)

That'd be great to just go the three days! Have you ever pulled an allnighter the night before or a real late night and struggled to drive?

Aww still would've been beautiful! I miss the beach living along the river :(
Hahah yes! Hopefully top grades for me, let's wait and see ;)

Thanks, probably need alot of luck in english lol..probs my worst subject. You did bits in english 93 dammm! and lucky for you you finished 5 of your units so less pressure.

Yeah I have checked usyd at the info day..great uni. Sure you can come anytime haha..I am a Injury specialist ;)

Good Luck in your HSC :)

Don't worry good thing is English adv scales pretty well and I find you can go more in depth in texts! Do you know what your set texts are for each module and AoS? More pressure around school time since I have double periods every day but less around exam time woo! Have you found a study routine yet yourself?

Woohoo! Will I get a free appointment to be your Guinea pig? (;
Ahh I absolutely adore Uni walkthroughs, it excites me so much to imagine my future as I walk through a campus!

Lucky you! My 2U/3U math teacher is sexist as heck, do enjoy the guys in my class though they're hilarious! I'm so keen for HSC syllabus for physics I'm itching to learn, don't start HSC technically til term 2 after Easter!

I really hope you get that 80% or above, I believe you can do it! Practice shall definitely make perfect!

Have you looked at any units you're interested in so far? Oh my I have 15 night hours until I can go for my P's and I'm so impatient!!! Congrats, I really hope you can treat yourself on some kayaking in your study breaks :)

I dropped extension English after improvement in Advanced too! No regrets, majorly decreased my workload! I understand what you mean by things getting grindy, I get the same!

Ooh which was your favourite movie! I really wanna see La La Land, I've heard great reviews on it
