Do you have a predicted exam letter grade?

No, he means how well do you think you'll perform on the exam. Like C,B,B+,a,A+?
Also, is your school any good? EG: a lot of people that do well, a crap school etc.
No one can tell you or even make a reasonable estimation with just a " fair amount of studying" and "80" for sacs.

You pretty much need to get the median letter grade for all GA (i.e. for methods 2008 B+ for SAC's, B for exam 1, C+ for exam 2)

hi guys wondering what kind of score im looking at as well. SAC scores thus far 9/10,40/40,10/10, 35-40/40 (haven't got it back yet just a rough idea), 10/10. note, they are all weighted marks (with the rest of my year level). Im expecting to get an A on both exams but maybe thats a bit to ambitions so A, B. If you could estimate a score for me that be great.

Cheers

Are your SAC's really easy? If they aren't why are you estimating B's and A's in the exams?

Anyway with A's would be around 37-39,
and
A and B around 34-38 because of the weighting of exam 2.

Bear in mind these are rough.

You need a 30,30,30 for your GA marks to obtain a study score of 30

What the hell does that mean? lol

cheers matty. The sacs that we've done seem to be pretty easy but were scaled quite dramatically. The rest of the year level are, to put it nicely, duds. My raw scores have been around the 80-90% mark except for 1 which was an absolute joke; everyone got 90-100. What kind of scores do i need to get a 40 and how are the exams scaled (eg a 75/90 on exam 2 is an a+ and not an a)? Thanks for your help

Grade distributions are here: Follow one of these links and click on methods

2006: http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/vce/statistics/2006/statssect3.html#H3N1032C
2007: http://vcaa.vic.edu.au/vce/statistics/2007/statssect3.html
2008: http://vcaa.vic.edu.au/vcaa/vce/statistics/2008/statssect3.html

Within are the exam scores needed to obtain certain grades.

To get 40 you generally need to have all A+'s, one exception, a member of VN last year got an A on exam 1 and managed a 48 raw. But generally you need all A+.

wtf!

I got A+ for SACs, A for exam 1 and an A+ for exam 2 and only got 39. What did he get 100% for exam 2.

48 raw. Later I found out what my scores were:
SACS: 100%     A+
Exam 1: 37/40   A
Exam 2: 78/80   A+
