Hahahaha no, we definitely watched Behind the News. I don't really remember it, though. Was it presented by kids?!

Teachers used to wheel in this huuuuuuuge TV on a big trolley stand thing and we'd all crowd around. Classic.

So I'm not the only one that listens to Gold 104.3?!
(Actually Gold's aim is mainly 80s, 90s and 00's these days )

Also: curly wurly chocolate bars 😍

I haven't listened to the radio much in my life, but when commuting, I tend to flip between Gold, the ABC and Triple M (for footy purposes). Surely Maroon 5 is too recent for Gold, though?!

I have it on nearly 24/7 in my room!

According to google, She Will Be Loved was released in 2002 therefore not too recent ;)

Do they have a cut-off date or something?

I'd say 2009, but good ol' wikipedia says:
Quote
The station now predominantly focuses on a smooth variety of songs from the 1980s, while also featuring a selection of songs from the 1960s, 1970s 1990s and early 2000s.
:)

Edit: coming to think about it, I heard Hey Ya (Outkast) on Gold ahah

Continuing on the train theme- these bad boys  (aka the old Hitachi trains that actually had openable windows) were retired from the fleet after summer 2014 :)

Yup. I remember those. I do recall a specific type of train I remember - it had green and yellow striping similar to the one pictured below:
