Would a windows surface laptop be ok? Is physics unit  2 considered as an elective science? And for the methods test do you think financial and congruents will be covered because its not in the methods course.
Yeah, some people do have the surface here (if I remember correctly). Physics Unit 2 counts as your semester 2 elective science and I do not think there is financial and congruence on the methods readiness test.

Is there any extended response questions or just multiple choice and short answer? And was there any probability questions?

Multiple choice and short answer mainly. I really do not remember the specifics but if you've done year 10 maths, all of it will be familiar without revision (not saying you shouldn't revise).

There's no real prerequisite for Bio 3/4 in year 11 (unless there is but I am not aware); however, subjects like bioinformatics, cells to systems, pharmaceutical science and the biology based science electives are all extremely useful and recommended for biology acceleration.

What subject would you reccommend pharmaceutical science or cells to systems?

omg..u know the extra sheet they gave with the year 10 handbook, i lost that and apparently it had an access code on it...wait how do I get it back coz we need that to submit our course confirmation thingies?
Wait so we're meant to do it online not literally on the sheet right?

I think we're supposed to enter our preferred course selection choices online (before Thursday 19 October). And we're also supposed to bring the physical forms to the Course Counselling. So two things to do.

You should probably contact the school about the access code.

oh dear, I can't decide between life in the universe, cells to systems, analytical and spectroscopic and pharmaceutical someone helppp, I aiming to do a biomedical course at uni and I'm completely lost. I know life in the universe won't help much but I want to choose it for my personal enjoyment hahah

At times like this, I recommend making a pro-con list. That way, you can express your thoughts a lot better and make decisions.

I think you should pick up 'Life in the Universe' if you want to do it for your enjoyment. You might have already made up your mind with doing Biomed but there's a high chance you might change your mind.

When I came to JMSS, I had the idea in mind I wanted to do medicine and go into neurology/neuroscience but then after some time (and work experience at a biomedical lab) I had found a love for physics and that I didn't want to go into that field of medicine/biomed. I had taken Quarks to Quasars out of a curiosity and it had really changed my perspective on what I wanted to do.

Not saying it'll happen to you as well but I suggest picking one elective science that you're interested in and the other one as something that might open some opportunities for VCE 3/4 acceleration or a gateway into a specific field of science.

I just went through my year 10 book again, any.more advice on what we should revise for? like any topic we need to pay extra attention on?
Never reject an idea, dream or goal simply because it will be hard work. Success rarely comes without it.

Yeah im not sure whether I should worry about probability and statistics not very good at them. I think study linear, quadratics, trig and maybe hyperbola, exponential graphs. Does anyone know if logs are year 10 or not?

log is year 10, should be useful. probability and stats will probably be a component but not too big.

I don't think stats is a prerequisite for methods 1/2. Also is there measurements cause its a non calc test.
