thanks! :) just a question, with the scientific writing/ reports, will we be given any background information at all? also, will there be a range of topics to choose from or will there just be one set topic. Thank you so much xD

they would give you a starting point for sure.  btw, I did it back in the day of '14, so don't know if they changed immensely..

Yeah same >< I've kinda been procrastinating so I haven't gone through much, however I DO go to the JAC thing for practice, which I suppose is going to help?
But a lot of people get an interview, as long as you hit that line you get one...so if I don't even get an interview it's gonna be really disappointing ><

at tutoring yesterday, we had sort of a practice test thing for science and I was so stumped, I knew like nothing ugh but it was harder bc it wasn't multiple choice so I didn't know what my opinions were, so in a way I'm hoping that the jmss test will be easier.

I HAD TO LABEL THE FREAKING REPRODUCTIVE ORGANS ARGH I swear that's the only part of science class where I don't pay attention hahahaha, but most of the questions where things that involved newtons laws of motion, so,e basic chem stuff but mainly I was so stumped cause half the test was on sex ed like hahahaha

I think though, that most of the scientific reasoning is just interpreting graphs and basic scientific knowledge, so I think the only chem stuff you would need to know is probably just basic stuff about atomic structure, nuclear chem and elements and molecules and what not. Don't worry, I think they probably made the test at tutoring much harder to prepare us! haha ;)

that i'll probably be able to handle. but the exam is in just over a month and argh stressing so much. do you think there'll be a lot of stuff from the yr 10 curriculum in the tests, bc i'm having a hard enough time making sure my yr 9 curric is strong.

same, I hope that if there is, the stuff is easy to guess logically, if you know what I mean. theres so much content to cover and such little time !

don't think so. just basic info and stuff, so i don't think it's necessary to go. also, there'll be teachers and you could probably ask about the school, etc. im not going.

:-\I am trying out for JMSS. Just a quick question. Do we need to know about parabolas and Quadratic for any of the mathematic tests?
