Hi everybody,
I have a question not so much about the entrance per se, but rather about one of the curricular options at JMSS. I'm currently studying Latin and would really like to do it in VCE, and I saw that it wasn't one of the offered languages, which is understandable. But then I noticed that there was a sidebar on the page saying "Other studies, facilitated by JMSS but externally provided". I assume this means they hire like tutors, but I'm not sure about my conclusion and was wondering if anybody knew.
Thanks

I think what they mean is that you can study the VCE subject, in your case, Latin, outside of school and the school will include that as part of the VCE and all that. What I mean by 'outside of school' is that you can complete Latin, provided by a language school or external tutor.

If you need anymore clarification, the others in this thread should be able to help you out. :)

Oh god I finished it all but I'm SUPER scared cause with the Maths one (not the Numerics one I don't remember what it's called) and I finished it and was like 'whew' and then I realised that my questions were in the wrong box and were shifted one being on the answer sheet (my answer for question 60 was in box 59 and so forth) and I would be ok with that but I'm not sure where I missed a question and then they yelled 'times up!' and now I am super nervous. Wait does everybody get an interview cause if so I will be ok but if not I will be in absolute anxiety aaaaaaaaaah

oh no, that's the worst! don't give up hope - you only have to be in the top half to get interviews. most people didn't finish the maths exam so...

Woohoo yeah everyone join the Hype Train!!!!! /the fun is about to begin and good luck to all!!! Choooooooooooo choooooooooooooooo (although it can't be a steam engine train because those are bad for the environment and we are should be helping it as much as we can. Although steam engine trains are the only trains that make that noise so let's pretend that the Hype Train is in fact a hyper-efficient train that runs on entire nuclear fission technology and uses the space time relativistic properties of the Alcubbiere drive and can travel vast distances at speeds past that of light and is entirely beneficial to the environment yeah woohoo)

Hey considering we will in most possibility find out if we got an interview or not in this forthcoming week I thought it'd be an alright time to break the proverbial ice (of course, not harming the environment and promoting global warming) and find out about what people like (because I am super stressed and need a distraction) by asking 'What are all of your favourite topics of science?'
Almost forgot to mention: I'm a physics kinda guy
