I wish that I do get the second offer, but I'm pretty sure that I won't get one as all 5 people from my school most likely have accepted the offer. I would also like to congratulate Kaize for receiving the second offer. You really do deserve it as you have shown enthusiasm towards this AtarNotes community and science in general.

Since no one's answering, I'll give my input XD

I stupidly listened to my parents idea I showed them I had a scholarship for year 9 and 10. In a western perspective, getting a scholarship means that you show commitment for this school and therefore you are meant to stay at this school for the length of the time period which the scholarship covers. My parents are a Chinese and they thought that showing them a scholarship meant I was academically talented, however that literally did the reverse and made me miss out on a first round offer.

Don't blame yourself for telling them about your scholarship. Like most things in life, there are different factors that contribute to the outcome of a situation. You sounded like you had a good interview with Mr Corkill, since you managed to make him laugh four times ahah. There's no definite answer for what you asked because it works both ways - it does show devotion towards one's school, but it also demonstrates strong academic achievements. You've done what you could for the interview and you should be proud of yourself for doing so well. Don't beat yourself up over it because it's in the past and you can't change what's happened. Hopefully you receive a second round offer, but if you don't, you should always learn and improve for next time. Just keep doing what you love doing in life and you'll be okay.

I'm not sure cause one of my friends told them that they got an offer from Hailbury(thats how you spell it right?) And still got first round offer. So really, be patient, even I got an offer.

it would be on 17 of October and you most likely have to sign up on 12 of October.
