To me it seems like both of the cartoons are showing how uber is stealing the customers of taxi driver. The cartoon depicting the taxi driver going on strike seeems to be a satirical attack on the taxi drivers, as by going on strike they are actively rejecting customers as shown in the cartoon and ruining their own business. This is my interpretation of the cartoons, hope it helps.
