For the last couple of weeks, I've seen the same dude in a suit riding his bike. Practically the same location every day, irrespective of time.

I could leave work at 4am and this guy would still be there, just riding innocuously. Too innocuously.

I feel like I'm in The Truman Show.

My ranking of waiting rooms, from worst to best:
- GP - the radio is usually playing a bit too loudly, it's a bit small, the air con isn't great, there's probably at least one loud small child running around, and there's sick people sniffling.
- Physio - pretty sweet, chairs are usually pretty comfy, radio is playing at an appropriate volume, air con is nice.
- Orthopaedic surgeon - best air con, large room with plenty of space, chairs spaced so that you have personal space, and minimal noise - only TVs playing at a low volume, no loud discussions, no small children.

I walked into the GP today expecting to be hit by a blast of cool air. Was sorely disappointed. Even the GP's consulting room was a bit warm. So gross.

Thankfully, things improved greatly when I went to the surgeon's in the afternoon. Got a park right outside, surgeon was running on time (both as rare as hen's teeth!), and gosh it was so pleasant inside. Almost wished that he was late so I'd get to sit in the cool for a bit longer haha.

The day I got off the plane - slept for 7 hrs.
First day of vacation - slept for 8 hrs.
Second day of vacation - slept for 10 hrs..
Third day of vacation - slept for 11 hrs...........

I'm at Safeway, and see a bloke with a white cane and sunnies on walking towards me. Naturally, I move back out of his way. I just need to note that if you listen to metal and see somebody with a band shirt that you like, you throw up the metal horns -- it's customary. Anyway, this guy had a Bathory shirt on, so I throw up the horns.

I repeat, I tried giving a visual signal to a blind guy. He walked right by me, as I should have expected.
