Anyone agree that it's essential to give up seat in public transport to elderly? (apart from extreme situations)
Yeah for sure! I always tend to give my seat to any elderly person (that looks safe...if you know what I mean?) when I'm in the tram or bus. It's such a small gesture but kinda nice. They've got tired legs, we've got strong legs to stand up for the whole journey!
Some oldies appreciate it so much and it's just satisfying to see that joy on their face

Believe it or not some people on public transport have called our school saying how our school kids are well-behaved and generous that they give their seats to others!
Sometimes I think it's a school thing!

And then there's some oldies that just look at kids sitting and not taking an initiative to give up their seat! So best to avoid that look from elders!

And honestly I get grumpy when I see kids that just sit thoughtlessly and refuse to give their seat! Why be so lazy right? When you can do an act of kindness?
But what do you think? Do you normally give up your seat for someone?
