But if the room is just adults and everyone leaves it then nobody eats it

I always ask if anyone wants it. If someone wants it, they can have it, I'm not fussed. Otherwise dibs
correct, that would be the end result

Anyone agree that it's essential to give up seat in public transport to elderly? (apart from extreme situations)

Yeah for sure! I always tend to give my seat to any elderly person (that looks safe...if you know what I mean?) when I'm in the tram or bus. It's such a small gesture but kinda nice. They've got tired legs, we've got strong legs to stand up for the whole journey!
Some oldies appreciate it so much and it's just satisfying to see that joy on their face :)
Believe it or not some people on public transport have called our school saying how our school kids are well-behaved and generous that they give their seats to others!
Sometimes I think it's a school thing!  ;)
And then there's some oldies that just look at kids sitting and not taking an initiative to give up their seat! So best to avoid that look from elders!  :D
And honestly I get grumpy when I see kids that just sit thoughtlessly and refuse to give their seat! Why be so lazy right? When you can do an act of kindness?

But what do you think? Do you normally give up your seat for someone? :)

Pros of going to my grandma's: by the time I get to Geelong I get to raid the eduroam at Geelong station.

Cons of going to my grandma's: the bus that gets to her place is every hour-hour 15, and my phone is already on 65% oops.

So.
Turns out Jess the English Lecturer did not grow up on a farm.
Thanks, Harry.

Let me just say that the Engineering Faculty at UTS is waaayyy better at responding to emails than USyd's Engineering faculty.

Seriously though, it took USyd a good month to respond to my email and it took UTS less than 10 hours to respond to my email.

Somehow my study afternoon (which started at 2:30) has gone from looking up docos of the Vietnam war (for modern history study) to listening to SMASH MOUTH ALL STAR PLAYED ON CHEAP UKULELES
How does this even happen...
"Live life like a pineapple. Stand tall, wear a crown and be sweet on the inside"

"May you grow up to be righteous; may you grow up to be true. May you always know the truth and see the lights surrounding you. May you always be courageous, stand upright and be strong"

"Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire"

Advice for starting year 12

I can't sit still right now. My legs are jumping up and down. My fingers are pressing keys they're not meant to. My mind is spinning from topic to topic, constantly. I can't pay attention to my work. It's getting very frustrating; running around like a dog chasing it's tail or something... actually, this is probably better imagery:

Does anyone else ever get that? I think it's called restlessness.
Aaaand now I also have a headache.
*sigh*

Theory: Heston Blumenthal started out as a starving Arts student with nothing but a can of cat food, 3 bread sticks, a bottle of vanilla essence and a flamethrower in his cupboard.

I haven't had a good night of sleep in weeks. This is very frustrating.
