Assembly today was a Holocaust survivor speaking about his experience. I found it fascinating. I also had to elbow technodisney awake twice :P

I can confirm. I did keep falling asleep. But that’s not because he was uninteresting. What I did hear was really good and interesting. I am just really tired. And I felt really bad afterwards.

For some reason, I enjoy learning about anything Russia-related in Modern.

Maybe it's because of the Russian memes that pop up in my head...

This is so relatable with Germany for me too. The number of Nazi memes that I’ve snuck a chuckle at has been of a concerning magnitude lately  :-[ The cynicism of the HSC is starting to take over me  :-\

Change always involves loss - the trick is in convincing people (including yourself) that the gains will be greater.
