The soft guitar and the singer's voice just so completely encompass the lonely but beautiful aspect of the song, and the way he professes his love. I found it last year, and it just carries me away every time I hear it. It makes me super emotional, but I love it anyway. :)

This song speaks to me. I feel that it addresses the point of trust and separation, isolation.

This song is addressed to one of the singer's friends. He's telling him not to be like Jeff's father, who was never actually in Jeff's life. I can relate to this pretty hard with both my biological parents, so definitely my lyrics of the week.

This is one of the first songs my little brother learnt on the guitar that we got him.
I sing it with him sometimes, and it really touches me as beautiful imagery.
These are my lyrics of the week because the blackbird sings even in the dark, bent but never broken.
