Someone who is genuinely happy for other people. They don't always look for a reason to better someone else. Like if someone gets good marks at school/uni, they don't say 'but I bet they don't have a social life.' They actually say something positive to them (without being patronising)
I really think the same. Also lately, people who don't need to tear someone down when someone else raises them. So:
"She looked so good that night"
"Yeah she can't help be centre of attention."
Like guuuurrll, let her be smack bam in the middle of the attention if that's where she is happiest - support her in the attention, shower her in the attention, or just shut up and enjoy your own space! No need to bring people down. Everyone gets kicks and confidence out of difference things, different strokes for different folks.
You're totally right, it's not about "oh yeah but they don't have a social life" when tagging onto "they get great marks at school."
I love people who can be just plainly happy for other people. The person I'm working on being! Happy to say I'm on my way...but it starts internally.
