[VCE] FREE End-of-Year 2017 Revision Lectures (Units 1-4)

Fam. Straight off the bat, this will be ATAR Notes' biggest lecture series ever. 40 free lectures, including 8 Units 1/2 lectures.

Super, super exciting.

The public doesn't know yet - we'll be promoting the lectures later today. We want our forum members to have first dibs, though, so... get registering! The lectures are entirely free, but will fill up quickly.

---

Here's the important stuff you need to know:

How do I register?!
Spoiler
As above, simply follow this link! Nobody else knows that tickets have been released - so if you're in the Forum Community, you can be both first in, and best dressed. 8)

When will the lectures be?
Spoiler
Soon! The lectures will run over five days (three consecutive weekends): Saturday 23 September, Sunday 24 September, Sunday 1 October, Saturday 7 October and Sunday 8 October.

Where will they be?
Spoiler
None other than RMIT University - right in the heart of the CBD, and extremely accessible. Building 80, where the lectures will take place, is just a three minute walk from Melbourne Central Station.

RMIT is the reason these lectures can happen for free. Hiring as many lecture theatres as we need for as long as we need might usually cost a lot, but RMIT gives us the space for free. For zero. For zilch. So without RMIT, we really couldn't be offering this lecture series - thanks, RMIT! :)

"What subjects?! Who are the lecturers?!" I hear you cry. Well, get a load of this. Biology 1/2, Biology 3/4, Business Management 3/4, Chemistry 1/2, Chemistry 3/4, English 1/2, English 3/4, English Language 3/4, Further Maths 3/4, Health & Human Development 3/4, Legal Studies 3/4, Literature 3/4, LOTE, Maths Methods 1/2, Maths Methods 3/4, Physical Education 3/4, Physics 3/4, Psychology 1/2, Psychology 3/4, Specialist Maths 1/2, Specialist Maths 3/4.

All these subjects have lectures! As I mentioned earlier, 32 lectures for 3/4 subjects and, excitingly, 8 lectures for 1/2 subjects.

And each and every one of the lecturers is incredible.

Full timetable:

On the day(s), we'll also have our full range of course notes and topic tests available to buy. :)

Cool! I'd be so down for this but I do the HSC; any plans for a pre-finals lectures series in Syd?
2017 HSC: English Advanced // English Extension 1 // English Extension 2 // Mathematics Extension 1 // Mathematics Extension 2 // Physics // Chemistry // Economics

LAT 2016: 100th percentile // UMAT 2017: 99th percentile

I'm incredibly hyped for this one - we've been tossing around the idea of doing language-specific lectures for a while, but were never sure if there'd be sufficient interest for each one (plus it's a lot of extra effort, and we could use the venue space for other, bigger subjects :/ ) Then along comes Aidan who's like "yeah, I can totally do a lecture that's relevant to all LOTEs with heaps of advice for the oral and written exams, no probs!"

I believe the plan is to have the first third of the lecture be about the oral exam, the second about the written exam, and the third about general skill refinement and tips for exam preparation :)

So unless you're doing Latin, Greek, or Hebrew and won't have an oral exam in the next couple of weeks, this lecture will be relevant no matter which language you're studying (i.e. lots of meta-advice about how to structure your answers - written or verbal, and a step-by-step process for the listening section of the exam that helps prevent you getting all lost and bamboozled, etc.)

I'd highly recommend checking that lecture out. As someone who did Indo SL in Year 12 and was virtually fluent, but didn't know any of these strategies or guidelines, I would've killed to have someone explain all this stuff to me back then!

If we go with a printed ticket can we chuck it on the table and enter still or has things changed?
