Hi guys, so today i got my methods sac marks back and i got below 30%. I was expecting this result but I'm obviously super sad about it because I didn't think I'd ever do this bad. i don't know how i can get back up from this because i can't stop thinking about my mark and I'm now putting myself down because i feel so stupid for getting such a shitty mark. I did well for my first sac but this is going to bring me down so bad. i'm hoping to get in the mid 30's but i don't know how that's looking right now. Please give me advice, thank you.

SACs can be difficult, you just have to accept that. But in maths, they don't count for that much. Every mistake you made is an opportunity to learn so you don't make that mistake in the exam, which is really going to decide your study score. If you are willing to work hard, revise all the content and do plenty of practice exams, I think you'll surprise yourself with how well you are able to do, and at the end of the day whatever score you get will be your best.

It obviously sucks you failed your SAC, but keep your head and move forward. When you get your paper back, go through it with your teacher to work through all the mistakes you made and make sure you understand what you did wrong.
You can still achieve your goal, but like Quantum44 has stated your going to have to work hard for it.
This is a good article on coming back from a bad SAC mark on ATARNotes
Jack of all trades, master of none.
Hence why i'm in all these different threads and boards.

thank you so much for the advice ! yeah i agree, it just feels bad when you study hard and then you don't even end up doing well :/ but the last sac is on probability and next week and luckily i'm feeling much more confident about the topic than the previous sac :) hoping that I can bring my grades up

thank you for the reply ! I will definitely work hard, although this sac definitely made me lose all my confidence on the subject :/ hopefully I can turn that around
