Accounting 3/4 without 1/2

So I'm going into Accounting 3/4 in 2018 without having studied the 1/2 curriculum in school. I've spoken to students who've done the same as myself and as I understand it's 100% achievable, I'm just wanting a little bit of a head-start.
Are there any suggestions as to what I should study/where I should start/lectures to go to/textbooks to read?

Also, are there any topics I should focus on in particular?

In my opinion, buy the textbooks early. And buy some extra resources such as the CPAP study guide for Accounting to assist this.

Accounting 1/2 is actually relatively useful for 3/4 in comparison to other subjects. However, many people have gotten 50s without doing the 1/2 so it's all up to you!
