Supporting Documents - Need a bit of help!!!

Hi everyone, I have a few questions!

- How can I delete a document once I've uploaded it? There doesn't seem to be a delete button...
- On VTAC it says 'evidence must be no older than 3 months' but then it says a valid Centrelink document is 'your latest benefit statement.' My latest benefit statement was in June, which was three and a bit months ago, would this still be accepted?
- On which document do I write my name and the relationship of the person receiving the benefits? Do I write this on the coversheet or the actual statement PDF?
- Can I upload my coversheet and statement separately or do they have to be in the same file?
- If I accidentally uploaded a document and hadn't written my name and the name of the relationship of the person receiving the benefits at the top of the page, can I upload the same document again? And if so, would VTAC realise that one didn't have the names on it but the other one did, and so disregard the first uploaded document?

Sorry for all the questions, and thanks in advance for all the answers!

Well from what I’ve seen VTAC rejects and accepts the documents, so I think if you upload the document with your name, they should reject the other one. Also, I went crazy and sumitted evidence from the last three years and they accepted it, but some of the older ones were rejected for my scholarship application. So just submit the documents you have. I also put my name and relationship to the person on the actual centrelink document. I was wondering, was a coversheet required for our supporting documents cause I was under the assumption that for financial disadvantage, the only thing required was evidence.

Thanks zhen!

Since I've already scanned my documents and have them as a pdf on my laptop, I can't handwrite my name and the relationship on the page - do you reckon editing the PDF and typing my name and relationship would be allowed??

I don't know about the coversheet, I originally thought you only need to attach it to the hardcopy if you want to send it to VTAC, and it wasn't needed for the online upload, but now I'm not sure...if anyone knows please reply!!!

I would recommend rescanning the documents. I wrote my name and the relation on each page, but maybe someone else can provide some input? I would think it would need to be handwritten, does it specify though?

You don't need one if you're submitting it online, its hardcopy only. :)

Ok thank you so much!

Yes if anyone knows whether I can submit the evidence with editing on the PDF rather than handwritten name & relationship, please let me know!!!

VTAC wants handwritten name & relationships and not editing on PDF, it has to done with authenticity from the user.
That is what I was told when I asked someone at VTAC about something like this anyway.
Jack of all trades, master of none.
Hence why i'm in all these different threads and boards.

Thanks so much for confirming! I'll get it rescanned.

I have another question - under one of my uploaded documents it says 'Accepted' - does this mean VTAC has accepted it and I don't have to rescan and do all that or does 'Accepted' just mean it's gone through and VTAC will look at it later? And if it says 'Accepted' will they look at the second document I upload (duplicate, + name & relationship) since the one that is Accepted doesn't have the name and relationship on it??

What "Accepted" means is that  VTAC has accepted that submitted document and if there is no newer verision of the document. i.e. you don't submit another one earlier that one. Then they will send that to the insitutions your applying for in terms of SEAS or Scholarships.

They will always take the newest one , so long as it is considered acceptable , which you can tell when VTAC gives an "Accepted" for it.
