Band 6

What rank is generally good for a Band 6 in 2U and MX1? Like my assessment ranks were 9/30 for 3U and 12/52 for 2U and my trial marks were 78% for 3U and 81% for 2U. I wanted to know that if I did get a mark in the externals that generally gets a band 6, would my ranks be a problem or do I need a high mark for it?

Any. Because if you get 100 in the exam (frighteningly hard but not impossible), you can push it all the way up to a band 6.

Now really is not the time to be worrying about ranks. The test is tomorrow, so focused on what you have now and aim as high as possible instead of being grounded by ranks and stuff.

(Raw marks database, although this might not be too helpful right now either)

Ahh fair enough. I don't want to stress too much about this issue but it has been in the back of my mind since trials. Also, would 100 have to be the minimum mark in such a situation or would somewhere in the 85-92ish range be good enough? Nevertheless, my goal is of course 100 but want to know if such a situation arises.

It probably wouldn't be the minimum. But being realistic, due to how bizarre the algorithm is even estimating a range can be really hard.
