What does Beauty symbolise in Ransom?

Hey Ya'll!
So like, I'm trying to figure out what exactly makes Beauty so admired by all those who meet her. What does she ultimately symbolise? What is the significance of her name? Why would Malouf decisively end his novel with Beauty, rather than the warriors and heroes that his Homeric counterpart utilises?
