What did everyone get for the period question in the SHM? Was it 2pi/root3?

Nope it was 2pi x root(3)

I reckon 85 e4 cut off... paper was too easy

I got 2 pi root of one third  :-[ I may have done something wrong

First draft of the solutions is now finished! If anyone notices anything amiss do let me know, I'm heavily multitasking (hence the delay) and this probably caused a slip up or two ;D

For 13a, I kept n as root of one third instead of one over root three, and ended up with 2 root one third times pi. Is that still acceptable or would I lose a mark for not simplifying?

when u differentiate t = 4 - e^(-2x)
isnt it just 2e^(-2x)

Ahh good catch, I'll tidy that up! Made it worse for myself ;D

In that context I reckon you'd still get the 3 :)

Fixed (along with the aforementioned error) in the second draft now visible! I never even stuff up hard things when I'm rushing, it's always stupid stuff like expanding and differentiating, ahaha  ;D

Also will 97-98 in 4U be alright to state rank 3U?

I'd say so, of course that only matters in the event of a tie but if that happened I'd wager 97-98 would be enough ;D
