It did in 2014, so I think there's a good chance :)

does 3U scale differently for those who do it as 1 unit as opposed to those who do it as 2?

Hey!
For q13, the projectile motion question, the max height should occur at 50+50root3/2 since cos is negative in the second quadrant.  :) Also would i lose a mark if i didn't put the height in exact form, and instead put 93.3m.

What would a 70 align to roughly?

Also 13civ) I think it should be 93.3. The cos5pi/6 should be a negative to give 50+25root3.

Hey Jamon

What would a 53-57/70 be aligned to like a rough range, what do u reckon?

Thanks

Whether I didn't carry a negative or just looked at the wrong letter I have absolutely no idea, but fixed now ;) thank you!

Cheers guys, fixed that up, good catch!

toasted, I reckon you'd get full marks. I think there's enough other work above it to substantiate two marks ;D

If u get 100% what happens? Also is it a valid proof for the parametric question, to just make the xvalue of the Midpoint the axis of symmetry, since the quadratic has intercepts at Q and R and the axis will be in between them?

Yep that's the quicker method.

Nope, same, it only affects how much it contributes to their ATAR ;D

What would a 70 align to roughly?

In the past, roughly high 80's :)

would 69/70 go to 100 or na

Hmmm, tough, it has in the past but depends how people perform. This exam was neither too hard or too easy imo so I can't be sure, very strong chance though!

You get 100 and probably have a good shot at state ranking ;D and yep that's definitely valid proof and what they'd be expecting, I just did it my way to try and make it a little clearer to people reading ;D

For the projectile range < 100, I did the same thing as you with 0<theta<pi/2 but I realised theta can be pi/2 so should be sin2theta<=1 rather than sin2theta<1. Would I still get the mark?
