Hey guys, I've been tossing up my uni preferences for a while now and wanted to know if anyone had insight on doing Bachelor of Psych or doing a Bachelor of Science majoring in Psych at Monash?
I'm not really sure in the long run which course would be better for me. I'm also not 100% sure on the career I would want to go to afterwards, hence why I'm a bit hesitant with the bachelor of psych, although am really interested in the subject.
Thanks!!
If you're unsure, I'd recommend giving a Bachelor of Science a go

This allows you to explore other subjects and topics, whilst also (if you wish) being able to complete an accredited extended major in psychology; meaning that if you wish to pursue a career as a psychologist, you've already got the first 3 years of study completed.
That being said, I do believe students also complete some non-psych units in the Bachelor of Psychology.
If you're unsure, I'd recommend pursuing (or even simply starting with) a Bachelor of Science, given that it gives you a fair bit of flexibility, whilst also allowing you to 1) complete the accredited psychology extended major and 2) explore other potential fields.
