the A+ cutoff was 76/80 last year and to get 45+ you need high A+ in both exams. Unless the A+ cut off would be decreased sue to the difficulty of exam 1, I think you're teacher knows what his on about. Don't worry, you never know what could happen at the end

It was 72/80 for exam 1

would a 40/40 for exam 1 and a 58-59/60 for exam 2 get a 50 ss
