T S Eliot Resource List

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to pull together a list of resources for T S Eliot: Module B. If you have anything to add, any great sites, books, commentary, or even just your own perspective, please post it here and I'll edit it into the original post. I'll be working on this as the term goes on as well because I'm tutoring a student studying T S Eliot, so I'm going to try extra hard to find some great resources. I'm just starting slow, and will keep adding! Would love everyone else's input :)

About the author
This is a simple biography for first-time Eliot studiers to understand a little bit about our friend the poet. Resource here.
The Poetry Foundation is spectacular and this particular resource is good for Module B students because it draws upon a few critics. You might be able to use these directly, or they could prompt you to research some of the other names in the piece to see what they had to say about Eliot, in order to inform your own response. Resource here.

About the modern era

Poetry: Summaries and analysis
The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock
Not a bad little analysis here of the poem, without going too deep into the techniques, it talks about the different linking parts of the poem. I like it. Resource here.
Rhapsody on a Windy Night
Preludes
I like this one because it's not for HSC students, but it's still quite a succinct summary and sort-of analysis. Resource here.
This is a short, but not dumbed down, summary of what happens in Preludes. Resource here.
The Hollow Men
The Journey of a Magi

Student essays
This one explores Journey of the Magi and The Hollow Men, authored by Kate Murphy. Resource here.
Essay by our modern lecturer Susie! :) Resource here.
