Biology SS Prediction

Hi,

I was just wondering if someone could please predict what bio ss I could get with these results...I am 2nd ranked in a pretty strong cohort with an average of 86% for Unit 3 and 90% for Unit 4. For the exam I think scored 103/120.

Thanks in advance  ;D

It's a new study design, and that was a weird exam tbf so predicting your actual study score would be difficult, but I'll give some predictions :)
Through the exam's difficulty I would guess that 114-116 would be a 50 (correct me if I'm wrong), so 103 would be around 38-41, depending on how the cohort goes, I wouldn't be surprised if it is lower (35-37 can also be a possibility).
Anyways good work :) if you have any other exams I would suggest you to leave this behind and smash the rest :)

Just wondering, what SS would A+ for GA1 and A+ for GA2 and 105-106/120 for the Exam be?

I'd say around a 40-43. My friend got 43 and she got roughly the same marks. Don't hold me on that though, I had a different study design last year and my exam was comparatively easier than this years.

Would that be a raw SS prediction or after scaling you reckon?

Ah Right. It will surely scale up by around 2 this year, considering the difficulty of this exam comapred to past years, and Biology has scaled up by 1 in the past years so...right?

Scaling is done my VTAC, not VCAA. So it's not necessarily the difficulty of the exam that determines scaling.
