Over the past few days I have been going through waves of feeling like I will be super happy with my results and then feeling like I won't achieve the scores and ATAR I need. Right now I am feeling a bit nervous but pretty good - I think tomorrow morning will be a different matter though...

Good luck everyone for tomorrow - no matter the result, the AN community will be here for you  :)

How did you end up going in Media? :)

I ended up exceeding my 'realistic' predictions and thus I am pleased with my ATAR. It's not anything brilliant compared to some others' incredible scores on here (mine was in the 80s), but considering my personal circumstances I'm happy. Majority of my study scores fell just below 40 (I'm talking 39) so I don't really attain bragging rights but, on the whole, I think my ATAR reflected my hard work despite it all being scaled against my favour. My goal at the beginning of the year was to get in the 60s/70s so I can't complain and ultimately I feel accomplished. Well done to everyone, irrespective of your ATAR!

Well done - amazing results! What matters is that you're happy :)
Plus, we tend to forget that ATAR Notes attracts a lot of the high achievers - scoring so highly into the 90s isn't such a commonplace thing!

Just wanted to extend a huge congratulations to everyone in general. No matter what your results were, be proud of yourselves for completing VCE, and don't forget the journeys you've all taken to get to this.

Please also stick around on AN, we'd love to hear from you with what you're doing over the break, and would love it if you joined our uni community! ;)

Does anyone else find their GAT results entertaining?
Both this year and last year for my raw and standardised scores there was only  a 1 point difference between math/science and hums/art. Pretty strange considering that I haven't done any of those subjects for a few years.

My GAT score for written communication was a 27 lol and I ended up getting a 47 in English - a massive difference! I did sort of try on the GAT so I don't know why it is so low. Oh well it doesn't matter now anyway

Surprisingly my GAT scores were super accurate; my written com was 47 and the maths section was 39 (pretty much in the middle of my 3 maths)

I got a 49 for written comm on the GAT and a study score of 38 for English Language - which might be explained by allocating more time to the written pieces than recommended (and hence only scoring in the 30s for the other components)
