Merry Christmas to all! ;D

I got money (because my parents never know what I want/I'll probably spend it all on books I want anyways! ;D ), but I'll get more presents tomorrow at my grandma's.

I was also woken up by my youngest siblings at around 5:30 this morning- they received clothes, money, chocolate, and books. Safe to say 5 hours on- they've eaten a lot of chocolate, and now are very hyper 😂

Merry Christmas!
We bought some Guylian chocolates overseas to eat. We will also be going to a buffet tonight.
No presents as overseas.
I hope everyone has a great Christmas!  ;D

My family gave me a whole lot of matching fish stuff - Its a running joke about how much I love fish, and I really needed new sheets - (blue ocean sheets, blue pillows, fish stuffed toys, finding nemo fleece rug) and a couple of other things. My dad gave me roller skates. My street is a hill. I made it halfway down before I got to a house without a fence and realised I don’t know how to slow down. I now have an ice pack on my knee.

I got knee pads with it but I put on my helmet and wrist guards and didnt put them on. Oops.

Edit: And my department manager gave me a box of Favourites last night. Everyone else got booze but I got chocolate 😂

I got hand creams, Vans shoes, travel diaries, a camera lens, a puzzle, soap, a mug, and some money. My Mum also got me these wonderful London and Paris themed gift sets which I’m in love with.

All morning Mum and I have been reading, drinking tea, and watching movies while we work on this puzzle. Off to my grandparents soon for afternoon tea.

I’m extremely thankful for all the gifts I’ve received, and the time spent with my family.

Hope everyone is having a Merry Christmas. If you’re not, know that that’s okay too. This time last year I wasn’t nearly as happy as I am now. There’s this expectation that everyone has to be happy, and festive, and enjoy spending time with your family, and that isn’t always realistic. For those struggling, this can often be a very lonely time of the year, so be sure to check up on each other.

Had Xmas dinner with family last night. Today pretty laid back, watching movies and carols by candlelight. Didn't get much but I'm going to splurge for Boxing Day.

Loving the family time right now! Just had Christmas lunch with my Grandma, parents and 7 siblings. Got LOTS of chocolate, and an awesome book on the history of Australian Cricket, so good! The perks of being in a large family! ;D Lots and lots of chocolate, also a hoodie jumper so that I can look like a creepy drugo at night. An awesome Christmas, really love the family time!

Merry Christmas everyone! Remember that Christmas is more about giving than receiving, therefore it is not that important what I received :)

Is there anything more Australian than Santa giving out lollies from the back of a firetruck?
