I didn't start drinking coffee properly until I started my Masters (age 21, year 4 of uni). I'm surprised I lasted that long without it.

Even today, I don't drink coffee THAT much. One in the morning and one early in the evening.

I'd probably drink more if it didn't make me severely dehydrated :)

I think around July last year. It started with drinking mochas but eventually I needed more caffeine. I’ve never had like an actual coffee from a coffee shop. I just drink instant coffee and dare iced coffee.

I started drinking coffee around when i started losing sleep due to my bio exam. The closer I got to exam day, the more coffee I drank. I stopped for a bit after the exam, but I’m having some sort of coffee most days of the week at the moment, I think I’m addicted to it now lol, it feels much easy to concentrate after I’ve had one (or three).

I have not started yet. Never liked the smell, and never have had a real reason to.

However I have a long road ahead, so starting is a possibility. :P

Started in Year 11/12 because one of my friends took me out to some cafes but didn't truly like it until first year uni where I became a big stresshead

properly? since starting uni thislast year.
I generally drink coffee if I wake up before 8, or if I know I'm going to have a late night.
Some days I drink 2 coffees. I think I did that leading up to and on exam days.
I don't even know if it works. I like the taste though.

I'm not the biggest coffee drinker out there, and aside from drinking iced coffee I'd say I barely even manage to drink more than one coffee most weeks. That aside, I'd say I started drinking actual coffee when I was in year 10 (so 15) and I really only did it because I thought I looked cool bringing a travel mug to school in winter (yikes). Before that I'd only make it so I could dip my arrowroot biscuits in it haha*

*off topic but it was literally the worst tasting coffee ever but young me just liked making my biscuits soggy and eating them so it sufficed

I did hospitality in years 11/12 and one of the topics was prepare and serve espresso coffee so we learn how to use the coffee machine. Because we were making coffee in class, I decided to try some and hated it at first. I basically only drink mochas and not too often at the moment.

The thought of not being perpetually tired is seductive, but I’m keen to avoid being addicted to caffeine for as long as possible.

I used to hate coffee, but I started to drink it last year- mostly because I was also being a massive stresshead. :)

Late Year 10, I'd say. More in Year 11/12 though.

Stated off as an 'influenced' thing with the whole rivalry of younger brother following older brother's footsteps.
Eventually become dependent throughout year 12. Leading up to exams I was having coffee up to 3 times a day. However, aside from coffee, I also enjoy various assortments of energy drinks.

I started drinking it back in year 8 because I liked the taste, but then I decided I didn’t. Then in year 10 I started drinking it again because I was tired a lot, but I didn’t make it a habit. It only became a habit once I started drinking 7/11’s $1 coffee every day... it tastes pretty bad but hey, it kept me awake. I stopped drinking 7/11 coffee after the HSC, and have decided that I like the taste of regular coffee again :P
