Edrolo subscriptions

Hello everyone!

I was just wondering how people are accessing Edrolo in the school holidays?

I've read a few people on AN using Edrolo during the holidays, but doesn't your school need to start its 2018 account for all subjects and then you can access it?

Or is there any other way you can access the Edrolo exercises without knowing what your school's password is? (i.e. the passwords that teachers set)

Our school told us about edrolo a few weeks before school ended. We were given a link and told to enter our school id and then made an account on edrolo.
I do not believe you can access edrolo without school password.

I just made an account and put in my school and I could log in and use it straight away since my school has already purchased it.

Yes, I did that too, but because my school hasn't started any courses for any of the subjects, it shows that I don't have any courses to work on in the 'your courses' tab.
But what is exactly a course? It is like an exercise, or practice questions?
Or I've heard about summary slides for Chemistry, so does Edrolo call powerpoints and everything else (apart from questions) 'courses' as well?

So basically the course has PowerPoints on pretty much the whole study design in a big list broken up into the AOS plus topics and in the corner there’s a teacher discussing the PowerPoint and what you need to know. The teacher is usually someone really experienced and who marks exams. There’s also practice exams for each unit and some quiz questions however some of that stuff might be disabled by your school for you to use later. There’s also videos on how to approach certain exam questions and the PowerPoints are downloadable (annotated or unannotated).
