UoM is highest in Australia for....engineering and IT? :S

Interesting.. I was under the impression those two areas were UoM's main weakness.

I thought Monash or RMIT were the best for engineering in Victoria.

UoM is more for medicine and arts, isn't it?  In fact, I'm not very sure what UoM is renowned for...

that's what I thought. Mind you, UoM was highest in Victoria for everything, except ANU seemed to beat it in most areas, so it's more just a weakness of ANU.

I find it funny. That's what counts. I was merely posting a THOUGHT, not an opportuntiy to try and be "funny" and have people agree with me, quiet frankly I don't give a stuff  ???, if people laugh they laugh, if not, they don't, life goes on.

On a more serious note, no sarcasm, what IS Vic Uni good at? Does it have strengths in a particular field?

well im trying out for vic uni osteopathy as my 3rd preference, which is 86.8,
so that's not too bad. also they offer a lot of double degrees in law which one of them you need 96.9 to get into,
so maybe their strong point is law.

my mum (nurse) is doing her phd there,
and my sister is in her final year of nursing there.
they are both quite smart.
people shouldn't be putting down VU, it's a recognised melbourne uni,
and deserves respect.
but anyway i've made jokes about it too, so meh.

I even have it down as one of my preferences, lol, but can't remember for what.

wow, they need a 96.9 for law!!!!! And 86.8 for osteopathy, dam!

Goodluck with your course, hope it goes well for you man.

I wouldn't judge a course by it's clearly-in score. That really says nothing about the course at all

But didn't someone try to transfer from Vic Uni to Monash and their entire first year Law course/subjects were worthless and they had to repeat it.
