Accomodations in Hobart (maybe looking for roomates)

Not sure where this post should be, so I apologise in advance if it's in the wrong parts of the forum.

So I recently accpeted an offer from provisional entry into med at UTAS, and Ive been looking for accomodations.
Apart from the ones listed on the university sites, does anyone know of some sort of student housing, or a place/area that students have been known to flock to for accomodations, such as near the Saint Lucia UQ Campus in Queensland?

Also, if any other students are moving to Tasmania to attend UTAS as well, and needs a roommate, I was looking around. If you're interested, PM me please,
Details:
Male, 17-18 years of age and South Asian.
Commencing a Bachelors in Medical Research
Fairly hygenic, a little obsessive about how my own personal space is (that is to say, my room, which I imagine shouldn't pose a problem), else I'm relaxed to a reasonable degree.
You'll never have any problems with too much noise, but If Im wrong, at the very least Ill listen to reason and quiten down.

Final Note, I have no problem with the student housing listen on the UTAS site, but I have however been looking at some other rental properties for various reasons. Ive bookmarked some, some for 2 people, some for 3, one for 5 (looks like a fantastic place, but unless all 5 bedrooms are taken up by 5 people, the rent will be over 200 per week/person - don't know about you, but thats too rich for my blood).
