I had half of my SAC last week. I spent a lot of time making sure that my notes included all of the content, including templates for answering questions. I also competed the data analysis revision chapter and some chapter review questions. The booklets we work from in class have a lot of exam style and past VCAA questions which I also did, although they were scattered so I do not know which question is from which paper and I am sure that I will not be able to remember them by the time of the exam. I also completed the topic tests from ExamPro's Further Maths study guide (although it is from the past study design, most of the data analysis questions are still relevant).
Hope this helps.

If you do the VCAA questions now there is a rather high chance you'll forget them by the end of the year so it wont matter (I did ahhaha) but if you're worried about not 'saving' them just do textbook and chapter review.

practice questions are definitely the way to go. I would do vcaa papers if you needed more questions to go through as you will almost definitely forget them by the end of the year. otherwise all the relevant questions in the textbook/checkpoints/online and do whatever you can find. Further maths I think is really about doing as many practice questions as possible to learn the tricks

best of luck

I can't believe they're still doing that huge SAC with the new study design.

Best way to prepare is to go over your notes and chapters every night prepare a good cheat sheet or  find one print one out online like I did. And practice the questions you can't do easily like  the worded ones so you get faster at doing them and can cut out silly mistakes.

I actually ran out of time this SAC so yeah practice doing equations fast.

I think the best way to prepare for your further SAC is practice. In addition to this, it is also vital that you go through any practice SAC questions or textbook question, ensure they are marked and to also note down how and why you got these questions wrong and try and not make the same mistakes next time. You can also add these to your summary book as there is no limit to what you put in there as long as it fulfills the requirements.

If you are fortunate enough that your school provides you with past SACS, like mine, try and complete them first before completing VCAA Exams. The reason is often schools make their SACS somewhat different to VCAA exams but quite similar to previous years' SACS. SACs are generally harder than VCAA exams for scaling purposes and VCAA exams may not be the best way to prepare yourself for tough data analysis questions. If you can you can go to VCE book shops and buy other further books such as NEAP, insight or hefferman as they are quite challenging. Doing them will increase your familiarity with challenging questions. However, if none of this is possible then just complete VCAA exams.

Data analysis also requires a lot of interpretation of data. That being said, these interpretation questions can also be answered with a generic answer so ensure that you place these templates which can be found in your textbook into your summary book. This way you can simply flick to them during the SAC and it will save you a whole lot of time and hassle from trying to memorise them. Best of luck with your SAC!!

Honestly you don't even need to go through vcaa exam booklets yet but just selected questions that are related to data if you wanted to. Completing the course work (exercises and chapter reviews), reading through your notes and making sure you understand every concept/formula is the best way to go for any further sac is the way to go
