Which resources are good?

Hey guys, my school doesn't use a textbook, but I was wondering which one is better; Jac or Oxford. Alot of mixed reviews, as people say Jac is too detailed and Oxford is too simple. Also any other good resources for psychology, such as A+ notes which are reccomended for other subjects.
Cheers,

I haven't used the Oxford textbook but I really like the Jac one - even if it is detailed, that means you get a lot of depth and background knowledge and it's easy to pick out the key points to make notes. I also know the atarnotes topic books are quite good. I haven't used A+ notes but I've heard they're a good summary of everything and highlight the key points.

Hey! So I used the Jacaranda textbook last year and found it really useful. Although there was a lot of extra information, I found that it helped consolidate and deepen my understanding of some of the topics. I also used the A+ notes and found those to be helpful for providing a summary of the key points you should know. However, I highly recommend finding the notes of past high achievers in psychology. You should definitely look into Sara Doan’s psychology notes, I bought them last year and they massively helped. Good luck!

Personally I use jacaranda which is really good and the end of chapter questions are very useful! Jacaranda also comes with study on which is amazing. Checkpoints is also great for psych, it also comes with an online version with even more questions. NEAP is good too but in my opinion some of the questions are kinda basic. I also ask my teacher for extra questions, they usually give out some tssm stuff and some edrolo topic tests. Personally I find it a waste buying things like A+ notes since you already have a textbook and your own summarised notes.
