SAC 1 question examples

Hi guys!
I have my first bio SAC coming up soon and it is on a photosynthesis and a respiration practical. I was wondering what types of questions they are likely to ask in relation to the practical itself.
Thank you for your help :)

Hey,
You'll likely get lots of interpreting type questions.

For example, You may be given a labelled graph and asked to name the independent and dependant variables.
You may be given a table and asked what the optimal temperature is with reference to the results - your answer for this would need to be based on the results not on what you know, you need to give specific information from the results (e.g. the actual values).
You may have to design an experiment or criticise a method you are given (for example, you may be asked what you would do to improve a method).
You may have to interpret what the limiting variable is. For example, if you are given a graph you may have to say why it flattens out. Are the enzymes saturated? Did you run out of substrate? Is the light not bright enough to work faster? For questions like this you need to pay close attention to the labels on the graph axis.

Also expect to have to state the equations for photosynthesis and respiration.
