we have pre readings, lecture slides and textbooks available but idk how to study !!

we have "learning outcomes" like what is expected you have learned once you've finished that lecture, but we get more important information to learn on top of that (that's not specifically in the learning outcome.)

are those "learning outcomes," the uni equivalent of the HSC syllabus?

for anatomy, i use flashcards, but i don't know about my other units.

I'm doing physiotherapy.

plz hellppp!!!

Hey there :) I'm doing physio too! I'm a second year student. Learning outcomes are basically the equivalent of syllabus points, but the thing about uni is that you shouldn't be just learning stuff to pass an exam and regurgitate definitions - you need to be able to reason and apply your knowledge.

Honestly first year uni for me was all about finding out what study techniques worked for me - everyone is different, after all!

I find that concept maps are really good in physio so you know the mechanism of stuff and so you can apply the principles of a concept to problems.

Flashcards are really helpful for anatomy for me.

I'd also just recommend putting it all in a big picture - don't just look at things in isolation. Try to join it all together and understand how things connect! Application is the key to doing well in physio :)
