Allocate+ is now open for adjustment everyone 
My allocations went surprisingly well this time, with only a single class which was different to my first preferences, which I was quickly able to swap 

How did everyone else go?

I've ended up with a day that has eight hours of classes in a row, which includes a 4 hour lab that clashes with two lectures. Yeah, thanks allocate+

That's rough Any way you can move some classes to other days?

I still don't have my own timetable yet (because my faculty is special haha), but looking at the class timetable it looks like I only have a single lecture on Thursdays, so I might get away with watching that at home and it looks like I don't have more than 20 hours in a single week!

Not sure if many people are aware of this, but Monash recently made their own matchmaking system for Allocate+ timetable swaps: https://swapme.apps.monash.edu/

You can also try Monash Stalkerspace and other facebook groups for swaps When the Moodle pages for semester 2 units get released, many units also have a forum section for swaps as well.

Got all my first preferences 

Also swapme isn't open yet for second semester, so use stalkerspace or wait for a slot to open on allocate+ to switch. Last semester I played around on allocate+ for 2 days to swap out of a Tute which was allocated to me from outside of my preferences. Eventually though I was lucky enough to see my first preference open up in allocate with a free spot, which was a nice surprise. Turned out it was a great tute to be allocated into, as I was able to only be at uni for 3 days. But my advice would be just to wait it out on allocate+ until the preference you want opens up.

luckily got all my first preferences but got 8am/9am (autoallocate) starts on 3 days

Does someone know that if I really need to swap to another class and can't find one on swapme or stalker space what can I do? I have work that day and I really can't make it to the class. sorry for the rant but otherwise my timetable is great ._.

Wait for a slot to open up on allocate+ and keep checking until there's one free. Hopefully with a bit of luck a slot will open up. Or, email your unit coordinator or CE to ask them to put more classes in on the day you need, and hopefully they'll listen to you depending on how full the subject is currently.

Yeah I got in contact with the scheduling staff today, they were able to move my lab to a different day. Still results in one clash, but it's still much better than previously. Aside from that, managed to get all my first preferences which was nice, having a three day week will be much more manageable than the five day week I had last semester

I'm moving from a 5 day week to a 3 day week!

Got all of my first preferences, but unfortunately a few lectures which couldn't be moved coincide with Access Monash Mentoring so I'm going to have to regularly skip those & make do with recordings. 

I was feeling really optimistic about next semester already, so getting this is just an added bonus
