can some one please help me.
y=-2(3)^.5 - 22 and y = -(3)^.5/3 x + (3)^.3
These are two linear lines. The question is to find the area enclosed by these two lines and the x intercept.

Hey,

With this style of question it's often best to draw a graph showing both graphs and shading in the enclosed area.
You find find the intersection of the two lines by knowing that at the intersection y(graph 1)=y(graph 2) and x(graph 1)=x(graph 2)

Once you have done this, you will want to determine your approach.
- Sometimes with linear graphs it can be easier to use that the area of a trianlge= .5 * base * height .
- You can also just use integration


Which aspect of the question are you having difficulty with?
