Is a 40+ in Methods still Possible

Hey guys and gals, After getting an abysmal result on my second sac. I'm starting to feel depressed that my hardwork is not yielding the results I want. I do alot of practise exams (20 rn, VCAA, NEAP, Hefferman etc) and just scoring 71% avg. My ranking is 4th out of 26 people, but I don't think that means anything when people tell me rank doesn't matter.

SAC 1: 35/50
SAC 2: 18/25

Please respond asap, if you can

Rank is more important than the actual percentage although the context to which you ranked 4 is also important (cohort strength).

Mathematically 40+ is still possible but you'd want a little higher in your exam scores. To improve the exam scores I'd be looking at where you have been losing marks and try to figure out exactly why did you lose those marks.

Ranking>Raw marks so don't worry too much about it, especially if your SACs are made to be complicated.
Here's some word of encouragement:
My average methods SAC scores was around 60+ before the exams and I didn't even know my rank (probably around top 5-10%), and I still got a 40+. 4/26 is not bad but you gotta hang on to that/climb from that ranking so just work hard and you'll be fine

Have you been doing exams under timed conditions? For my school's methods sacs so far, the questions have been manageable, but everyone's losing marks because of the time pressure. Make sure that you understand all the concepts solidly, so you don't have to worry about wasting time trying to work out how to do the questions and instead focus on getting the answer. Just my two cents, but from one methods student to another, good luck!  :)
