Just came across this article from the Herald Sun
http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/breaking-news/students-set-to-sit-hsc/story-e6frf7kf-1225788025035

It says

The fact the HSC is studied in many countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong, was proof of the success of NSW's education system, Mr Rees said.

Why the HECK would those countries have the HSC as part of their education system =.=*

Or does he mean that AUSTRALIAN students in those countries are doing it voerseas because they can't make it here? I don't get it.

With a site and network like VN that has become pretty much a household name these few years, I'm sure people can manage quite well.  :D

Plus, I imagine in international schools, which are usu. quite wealthy, that they have the resources to employ teachers that are fresh off the boat from Australia, and thus they'd be familiar with syllabus design and so on.

Ok.  Got it.  :P  Yeah,  "H" has a school in China, so it makes sense.
