1. Yep, probably! What do you think of those colours?

4. Honestly couldn't tell you with absolute certainty on this one. I think the buttons might need a bit of fine-tuning.
1. I think I would prefer less shades. Like one colour for most things and then one colour for things to stand out (like how the favourite threads are a lighter blue) rather than different shades of blue for every different thing. I think I like the orange on the threads, it's makes it seem way brighter although it'll take a bit to get used to.

4. I was thinking it might be like a mix between unread posts and the notify button. Like the watching tab just shows unread replies to posts that you've clicked alert on.

What is the "Watching" thingy for? same as Notify?

On other forums, "Watching" is sort of like a "Favourites" option, where you can "watch" a thread and then have easy access to it subsequently.

Has AN considered having a casual chat box?
Maybe something that requires x amount of posts to use?

Could you elaborate on this a little? Like a thing that pops up on the forum? Sort of like an always-on Facebook chat?

Looks great and so much more intuitive!

Is there going to be a quick reply button located somewhere on a post or is the orange reply button at the top right corner of the thread the one that's for doing quick replies?

Quick reply will be at the end of each thread - see the last screenshot in the first post. :)

Expanding on this, will IRC still exist? I noticed there's both a 'chat' and 'messages' icon in the screenshot. IRC is kind of obsolete now (although it has much nostalgic value), so could we potentially replace the IRC with this chat box?

Also, the colour scheme is varying the blue; it's lighter for the sub-forums - I like the current uniform blue. Why not experiment with a cool palette, saving the yellow and brighter colours for notifications and the like? (Just personal opinion)

IRC won't exist in its current format. Hoping for something much nicer!

Uniform blue sounds like the preference overall. Thanks for feedback!

kind of reminds me of the medstudentonline format but more colourful. Why stick with blue, btw? Is it because blue is associated with learning?

I definitely associate blue with ATAR Notes! Think it's a natural fit.
