Hi everyone, I am completely stuck with this question involving gravimetric analysis.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Gravimetric analysis isn't in the current study design - so don't stress too much.

What's happening is basically this:
There's some NaCl in a sample of water, and then AgNO3 is added to the sample.
The Cl then combines with the Ag to form silver chloride. AgCl isn't soluble in water, so it forms a solid precipitate.

That precipitate is then collected and dried to find the mass of AgCl. From this,  we calculate how many mols of AgCl there are (using n=m/M). This tells us how many mols of NaCl were in the water sample.  We then use this to find the concentration of NaCl in the water sample.

Thanks.
So when I find the concentration of NaCl in the water sample, do I use the mol value from i) or from ii)?
