Q. Could someone tell me how to get the numbers on the x axis on the table?

the question asked to find the stat point and state their type (nature) for y=x(x-8)(x-3)

The stat point is (4/3, 400/27) and (6,-36)

But how do they get the x vaules in the table?? I only know how to get 4/3 and 6  but not the others

Hey there!
I'm pretty sure they are just arbitrary values that are near each stationary point (when you look at the graph of the function) that indicate whether the slope is positive or negative around each stationary point. :)
