Okay, thank God, I hope so. Their working doesn't even work to get the answer they show. Hoping it's incorrect

I'm also hoping many of the later answers in questions 15 and 16 are incorrect. You know, I had some pretty stellar answers that I think they should mark off ;)

Actually, I think 15 c i) (Integral/simpson's rule question) is also incorrect. Answer to i) should be 81/4, which is the same as the solution to simpson's. Also, you'll probs get marks for working, as long as you wrote something sensical

Someone posted a copy of the answers on the hsc discussion page. I'll see if I can download it.

Honestly comparing this to the 2013 paper in which the band 6 cutoff was 75, i think i wouldve gotten a better raw mark in 2013 then this years, im not sure if thats just me but i think we could be seeing a lower band 6 cutoff this year

It's not letting me download a copy as it isn't document. Are you trying to open it on your phone? If so, that didn't work for me before, but opening it on my computer did.
I'll see if I can get a pdf version

I think I'm looking at a 92 raw at the moment, does anyone know what that'd align to? Lost all my marks in q16 :(

At least 93. Possibly 95 but I haven't seen your paper yet so I can't judge that far with confidence

I think cut off will be around 85 imo. This paper was slightly easier than 2013's but i completely messed up and currently looking at a 75 ish raw. Not gonna end up well for me is it? lmao

Only now gathered the courage to say how awful that exam was lol. Well, it wasn't until 15 and 16 but I guess Im not a good student haha. I'm honestly hoping just for a 70 raw at this stage. :( Even my math teacher had no clue what the last question even was. Lucky half of this unit isn't counting bc the whole trials is easier schmuck is a bigggg ol scam lol. Give me CSSA back they treated me kindlier.

Anyone know what an 84 raw would align to
Or what the B6 cutoff would be?

Hey everyone,

Pretty much like everyone else the exam was okay until Q15/16.
I am in year 11 and sat the exam as part of the accelerated course.
Did anyone else do that? Also does anyone have any advice on potentially resitting the course?? I really don't want to and wanted to get it out of the way sort of thing, but because I won't know my marks for a while I don't know what to do...
I know the advice is probably based on personal preference/what atar you want to get, but a lot of my friends are saying 'if I get below a high band 5 i'll resit' etc. What would be the mark/band you would be happy to take before resitting??
