Hey Lear. What did you get for the final question? Area between the inverse and g(x) I believe. Also, do you remember what you did for the final probability question? The one that asks for the probability a non year 12 is elite?

Just offering my 2 cents. The guys at my school had two separate interpretations, Pr(elite|non year 12) or Pr(elite intersection non year 12). So for the first one it was 0.0227 and the other interpretation was 0.019...  We aren't sure which is correct though.

Thanks Daniel. I did the conditional one (I think?) but while I was doing it I was torn between the two.

I got absolutely destroyed by both methods exams, ended up with a 34 thanks to sweet sweet SAC scaling.
And in two years I'll be a doctor. *
One.exam.doesn't.change.your.life.

You'll be fine everyone.

*second humble brag, my mediocrity in methods didn't even stop me from landing in the top 10% of my Biomed cohort for maths. Seriously, one exam does not change your life.
hmmmm what you get in english?

a = 0 for 1f

Actually if a=0, then stationary points exists for x=1,x=0, x=-2
because we now have x=1,-1- (1^1/2), -1 + (1^1/2) which become x=1,-1 - 1, -1 +1

1g looks fine.
Hey!! i can see by your username and your stressed out response to the solutions, that you are very apprehensive about your methods score. which you shouldn't be. its one exam one subject, you shouldn't get caught up in something that finished. instead of torturing yourself with more methods (which you hate) i recommend you finally celebrate. because you are free from what you hate. your lucky yknow, i hate english with a burning passion, more so than you with methods i can guarantee you that. but english unfortunately is by default in your top 4 where as methods can drop down to your bottom two. you should be happy for methods is over, forever. and that it can drop down to bottom two
