Multiple Mark short answer questions

Did any of you have any particular strategy when approaching short answer question worth 3-4 marks. With some of the practice papers I've been doing, i find some of the marks are so unclear that although i have a decent understanding, it isn't exactly clear what some of the questions are actually asking (or at least when it comes to the "higher/3-4 mark" in a particular question).

Cheers  :)

I think the only really good piece of advice one can give is that if you're answering a four mark question, your answer should make at least four points. If you aren't saying four things, then they're not going to give you four ticks.
I know this sounds overly simplistic, but in the context of an exam this is the kind of thing that really makes the difference at the end of the day
