If my brain decides to stop working tomorrow and I somehow misquote every quote I use, will they mark me down? Assuming I have the general idea of the quote and it's not completely falsified.
Yes, I am paranoid.

Something I wondered too. Like what if we simply change the tense of a quote accidentally. Would they even realise? Surely they don’t know the texts THAT well. But maybe the search for it in the text to confirm, not sure

Examiners won't be too concerned if you misquote a couple of phrases. However, if this is continual, they may be inclined to mark you down. But then again, if you have the essential essence of the quote, I highly doubt that they would notice tiny discrepancies. On average, they take around 3-4 minutes per essay, if that.

Okay, that puts me at ease.
Out of curiosity, how do you know about the 3-4min statistic?

I've heard it from past examiners. However, it varies according to essay length, the preferences of the individual examiner, etc.
