Does anybody ever have any troubles when studying in public places (e.g. library) or at school? I can study perfectly well at home but I'm like a totally different person anywhere else...is this a common problem for VCE students? there are people moving and bright lights and noises happening, how do people concentrate in these places?

Studying at library works for me because they're too many distractions at home :/
If you go to a massive library, you can prob find some spot that people never walk past.

I dunno I usually tend to get distracted at home very easily considering I study next to the computer. So I'm gonna see how studying at the school library goes this week and If I can study without being distracted lol.
When I get sad, I stop being sad, and be AWESOME instead. True story.

when im at home, its hard to concentrate and get started. especially if theres an ipod and a computer around. a quiet library works best. state library is pretty cool. hard to find a table at times though.

At home theres the computer, TV, ps3, and dont forget the fridge  :D

The librarys good for studying if you dont get distracted by friends and you have enough space to study

Lol I concentrate much more at home than anywhere outside. Its just when people look, talk or roam around me I get distracted really easily.

Libraries have study carrels - which prevents distractions of course

I get distracted too easily at home. I have been going to the library to do practice exams and stuff like that recently. I find it easier to stay focused.

Im goin to our holiday house this afternoon by myself for the next few days to study, where I should have no distractions at all.

Go to a 24 hours Maccas and cram. Access to snacks and caffeine too. Trust me it works. Downside is having screaming toddlers during the day but it can't be worse than screaming librarians.

LOL!!!

Yeah, I think that's him... he was trying to get people to shut up in a 'talking' area... like... ground floor?
He kept yelling and clapping every two or three minutes, so he was more damn distracting than the quiet conversation that was going on!
I cracked it after the fifth time and left.
He is not of the coolness Nina... definitely not of the coolness.
That is all.

Yeah studying at home can be distracting, because i tend to procrastinate and watch some tv, go on computer etc.

Studying at the library is good, but only without any distractions, and without friends hanging around lol.
