What do I do?

Hey,

So basically, maths has always been a weak point of mine, apart from a few lucky exams, I have never gone too well. After bad results in year 11 I got told I shouldn't do methods by a few teachers.
Anyway this year I have worked really hard and averaged just over 70% across all 3 sacs, which much exceeded my expectations.
But now it has come to the exam and I just cannot remember anything.

I have been doing practice exams and topic tests and if I am lucky to get over 30%.

Becuase I am doing quite well in my other subjects I don't really need a score above 25 in methods... But I really would like too, just because I have worked so hard.

Basically I just keep feeling like I cannot remember anything and nothing is working for me... I seem to forget the notes I wrote down 15 minutes ago.

I am continually asking my teacher questions that I really should know, and just making simple mistakes.
At this point I am not sure if I should just focus on a few specific topics and leave the other ones and accept that I won't do that well or try to learn everything in the remaining 3 days...

Or should I just ditch methods and focus on getting a 35+ in chem?

I just feel like I am letting myself down at this point.

Does anyone have any advice??

Thanks heaps

There are a few questions that always appear year after year on the Methods exams. My advice: know which questions these are and know how to do them well. After that, there are always tips and tricks around the AN threads or lists guessing what types of questions will appear, so you might want to give them a check. Hope that helps.

Thanks heaps.

I will do just that, when i looked at the vcaa exams, they were a lot easier than the topic tests and practice exams that I had been doing.
I think I am just overthinking everything.

Again thanks for the advice, I will focus on learning those questions!
