- provides a good summary for each dot point in the study design
- goes into a lot of detail + scientific design notes (useful because of what VCAA is know testing)

- a good condensed summary of the course
- useful for SAC revision, using it as a template for writing notes and answering
- have lots of annotations, highlights and answering multi choice/short answer questions

- the 12th grade biology course for an average Indian student
an Indian biology textbook, but written in English
- few highlightings
- topics which are relevant include: DNA/RNA, Biological knowledge and society, Evolution, Immunity
- useful if you want a detailed understanding of the course and would like to extend your knowledge past the study design (which might be useful considering what VCAA likes to test)

CBSE Biology for Class XI --> $30
- the 11th grade biology course for an average Indian student
- Indian textbook, but written in English
topics which are relevant include: cells, biomolecules (proteins, lipids, carbs), photosynthesis, respiration, plant hormones (lots of detail on this, which is useful for some SACs)
- at a university level, but had details useful for gaining a better understanding course

IB Biology Course Book 2014 Edition --> $80
- VCE topics which are relevant include: evolution, nucleic acids, cell respiration, biotechnology, photosynthesis, enzymes, plant growth, bit on immunity

- University level textbook which covers majority of the VCE biology course (but at a very detailed level)
- also comes with my notes on: cell membranes, enzymes, immunity, determining relatedness between species and DNA manipulation
